Bonjour,

Merci,

Sarah Namer

Hello all,
I am writing below in English, as you will see from above that my French, unfortunately is atrocious (it hails back to grade-school "core French").

I was terribly excited to find this discussion, and, in particular, the photograph of the blue carafe, so clearly and distinctively the work of my grandmother, Rosalie Namer. Because her career was cut so short by illness (just shortly before I was born), finding a photograph of a piece that is "new" to me, is indeed a gift (especially a piece in that beautiful blue glaze!!)

I would be very much interested in finding the article referred to in your discussion. I am not familiar with the magazine "Ceramag", and would appreciate any assistance finding it (my French comprehension is much better than my writing, so please, feel free to write in French).

For your interest, I attach a photo, taken in the early 70s, I think, of my grandmother before an exhibit (this photo may have been published elsewhere before, but if not, there are some nice views of her work in the background).

With thanks,

Sarah Namer
